Privacy Policy
Gnezdo is an offline-first application for saving and organizing materials. You can use its core features locally without creating an account. This policy explains what information is processed when you use local storage, optional synchronization, the share extension, and optional AI analysis.
Information we process
- Account information: if you sign in with Apple, we receive the name and email address Apple makes available, an Apple-linked user identifier, and authentication tokens needed to maintain your session.
- Your materials: links, notes, titles, descriptions, tags, folders, selected photos, captured images, source information, previews, and AI-generated summaries or practical details that you choose to save.
- Technical data: synchronization status and identifiers required to associate a signed-in workspace with its owner. Gnezdo does not include advertising, cross-app tracking, or third-party analytics SDKs.
How information is used
We process information only to provide the features you request: storing and displaying materials, searching and organizing them, synchronizing a signed-in workspace, creating link previews, operating the iOS share extension, providing support, and deleting an account on request.
Optional AI analysis
AI analysis is never required to save a material. When you explicitly request it, the relevant text, link, and selected images are sent through our Supabase service to OpenAI to generate a suggested title, summary, tags, folder, or practical details. Do not submit sensitive or confidential information for AI analysis. You can review and edit suggestions or save without AI.
Service providers and disclosures
- Apple provides Sign in with Apple and the App Store distribution platform.
- Supabase provides optional authentication, database, storage, and server functions.
- OpenAI processes material content only when you request AI analysis.
When Gnezdo retrieves public preview information for a link, the destination website may receive a normal network request. We do not sell personal information, use it for advertising, or track you across other companies’ apps and websites. We disclose information only to provide the service, comply with law, or protect users and the service.
Local storage, synchronization, and retention
In local mode, materials remain on your device until you delete them, clear application data, or remove the app. If you sign in, synchronized workspace data and stored images remain in Supabase while your account is active. Operational providers may retain limited backup, security, or legal records according to their policies and applicable law.
Permissions and your choices
Camera and photo-library access are requested only when you choose the matching capture action. You may decline or revoke either permission in iOS Settings and continue using other features. You may also use Gnezdo without an account, avoid AI analysis, sign out at any time, and manage Sign in with Apple access in your Apple Account settings.
Account and data deletion
Open Settings inside Gnezdo and choose “Delete account.” After confirmation, Gnezdo revokes the current Apple authorization, deletes the account, synchronized workspace records, and stored images from active service storage, then clears local application data. Deletion is permanent. You may contact us if you cannot access the in-app deletion control.
Security
We use platform security controls and encrypted network connections. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so please avoid saving highly sensitive information.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the product or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated. For privacy questions, support requests, or deletion assistance, email from.github@qw.su and include “Gnezdo” in the subject.
